Are you familiar with J&B Whisky? Well of course you are, all of us who’ve gone to a party or to a club know a good J&B Whisky.

J&B Rare Blended Scotch Whisky

The J&B Rare Blended Scotch Whisky is a blend of at least 42 malt and grain whiskies, the J&B Rare has no age statement on the label, that means it has spent less than three years aging on barrels.

It’s a smooth whisky, I assure you it flows well. However, on the palate, a very strong alcohol taste is felt, after a few shots it goes unnoticed.

With a caramel apple and vanilla flavor. It stands out for being sweet, for this, it is perfect for making whisky cocktails.

Like J&B Ginger Ale Twist, J&B cola Twist (one of my personal favorites), and J&B Rare Whisky Sour, it is very good for meetings or even in the summer, it can be very refreshing.

The main disadvantage of this whisky is that it could leave a bad hangover. If you like pure whisky, I don’t recommend it.

Take a long glass, add a bit of ice or cold water, it helps to improve the taste. It usually comes in 200 ml, 700 ml, or 1000 ml presentations.

Really recommended if you’re on a budget and you want to drink a good whisky cocktail or share with some friends

J&B Ginger Ale Twist

Ingredients

• J&B Rare Scotch Whisky or J&B Reserve.
• Ginger Ale.
• Angostura Bitters
• One lime slice

Preparation

1. Get a long glass
2. Fill with ice
3. Add the Whisky until half the glass is full.
4. Add the Ginger Ale and a bit of Angostura Bitters
5. Finish with juice from the lime slice and put the lime inside the glass

J&B Cola Twist

Ingredients

• J&B Rare Scotch Whisky or J&B Reserve.
• Ginger Ale.
• Coca-Cola
• Orange Angostura Bitters
• Orange slice

Preparation

1. Get a long glass
2. Fill with ice
3. Add the J&B Rare Scotch until half the glass is full.
4. Add the Coca-Cola and a bit of Orange Angostura Bitters
5. Finish with juice from the orange and put the orange slice inside the glass.
